External Rendering
External wall insulation is a rendering system designed to significantly improve building energy efficiency. Buildings constructed prior to the 1930s were generally built with solid walls, meaning there is no cavity that can be filled with insulation. Therefore, to improve the insulating properties of the building without decreasing usable space, insulation must be fitted on the exterior of the walls. These systems envelope the building, preventing excess heat from escaping while still allowing the property to breathe. We install EWI systems professionally and affordably. The EWI Installation Process
Installing these innovative, money-saving systems involves the following steps:

Firstly, the application of insulation boards to the property exterior walls will be completed

Next, a base layer render, including a layer of reinforcing mesh, will be applied

Finally, a thin coat system including a silicone resin finish is applied leaving a modern crisp façade
Ahead of installation, we will carry out a full site evaluation to ensure the most appropriate materials are used. Additionally, we take care of all surface preparation including applying fungicidal washes, removing debris and performing all required testing.
